For nearly three years, Bluegrass Moving Concierge (new name, same service) has succeeded because of our mission, which prompts our staff to treat every new job as a friend, and every service to a client as a mutual gift for the company and the client. We take pride in supporting clients through one of the most unpleasant experiences of their lives — moving, a time that causes what owner Beth Ann Glassford Haydon calls RSS, or relocation stress syndrome. We are currently serving Central Kentucky and have an amazing crew in place in Middle, Tennessee (Nashville/Franklin). Call Owner and Professional Move Manager, Beth Ann Haydon at (859) 948-6124 to set up an appointment.
For those unfamiliar with concierge moving, move managers do as much or as little as you like, from a quick consultation to a complete transition — starting with decluttering and ending with design.
Beth Ann Glassford Haydon has held a variety of jobs that all tie into her expertise at Bluegrass Moving Concierge. The business management graduate of University of Tennessee at Knoxville has sold and managed online auctions, designed and planned events and served as a licensed female contractor for 20+ years. More importantly, her experience of moving her elderly parents into assisted living and moving her family around Tennessee and Kentucky validated her need to start a company with an emphasis on empathy and service. “We provide compassion and the management necessary to make a smooth transition for our clients. We know we have achieved our goal when we receive a hug and a referral,” she says.
Our experienced and highly qualified staff will provide compassion, knowledge and the management necessary to make a smooth transition for you and your loved ones. Our services include the following:
Heather Masterton grew up in Vermont and has been an historian and purveyor of fine household antiques for many years. She has marketed fine collectibles and antiques through her online store, Barn Swallow Antiques, since the early days of eBay. She specializes in fine goods found in American homes in the past century.
Barn Swallow Antiques performs all the sale valuations, photography, packaging, shipping, payments and accounting for items which have a good online market. We specialize in fine china, sterling silver, and antiquarian books. We feature an ever-changing collection of personal furnishings and antique accessories. We are historians and enjoy the study of the last 200 years of America’s adventures. These stories are alive in the precious belongings we offer you.

We cannot say enough about the help Beth Ann gave our family, as my parents Helen & John Wallace were preparing to leave their home for an Independent Living facility. She met with my parents, in their home, listened to their questions and surveyed their home attentively. She gathered their thoughts, items and desires with artistic flair and was able to move all to their new home, making it feel exactly like “home” to them. She had their artwork hung on their walls and everything in place prior to their arrival. They were overjoyed and have adjusted well. We know Beth Ann’s professionalism expert assistance made this possible.

As a former client, I can testify to your professional services. Your talents helped me when I was overwhelmed and did not know how to tackle such a big project.

I want to thank you for the highly professional way you managed my recent move. The phrase “exceeding expectations” is over used. There are no words that I can think of to properly express my overwhelming satisfaction with the way you performed. Having lived in our home for 37 years, where we raised our children and enjoyed good friends, leaving was an emotional experience. Your anticipation of every possible issue was truly remarkable. I thank the fella upstairs for bringing you into my life at this time.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work done by Bluegrass. They were prompt, supportive, competent in every way. They facilitated hiring a dumpster and a POD; they organized things to be donated and took them; they priced various pieces and helped us decide on selling or keeping. After the decluttering process, they used our pieces to stage our home for market, making it so beautiful that we actually didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend this great company. The price was high, but it was worth it.

To begin, it takes a lot to impress me personally when it comes to customer service based businesses. Simply because in today’s world there just aren’t a lot of businesses or people that I find go out of their way to make the customer feel valued. I cannot sing the praises enough. Little did I know they would do so much more than “pack”. I never lifted a finger, I didn’t supervise nor did I have to make difficult decisions. Their rates are competitive, but more importantly they are honest, trustworthy and kind.

Bluegrass Moving Concierge will do as much or as little as you like, from a quick consultation to a complete transition-starting with decluttering and ending with design. Though Beth Ann lived and worked in Tennessee for a while, she enjoys living in Lexington and owning her business here. She cites venues in and around our city — specifically, Keeneland, rural horse farms and our historic downtown — as reasons our city ranks high for tourism and sightseers.
